Pricing Analyst (Temporary Assignment)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst for a temporary assignment with a growing manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, analyzing pricing structures, identifying discrepancies, and improving accuracy across products and inventory processes.

What You'll Do

• Analyze pricing data and investigate variances
• Review quotes, product costs, and bill of materials (BOMs)
• Support inventory reconciliation and root-cause analysis
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to improve accuracy
• Assist with pricing updates, reporting, and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work comfortably with formulas and large datasets
• Knowledge of inventory processes, product costing, and quoting
• Understanding of bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing workflows
• Ability to identify and investigate variances rather than simply reconcile numbers

Nice to Have

• Experience with inventory, purchasing, or production analysis
• Exposure to labor studies, work orders, or product build processes
• Understanding of PPV/IPV and manufacturing cost variances
• Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints
